My January Mind, Body, & Soul Goals
So with the start of the new year, I thought that I’d share with you guys my personal goals for this January!
Usually my goal planning session consists of me just writing a lot of random thoughts and ideas on a piece of paper (good ol’ brain dump style) and then picking the top 5 or so that I want to focus on.
This year, though, I decided to try and be a little bit more strategic about it.
I created a vision board that to me, encapsulates how I want my life to feel and look like. With this as my inspiration, I brainstormed some goals on a piece of paper and then tried grouping them into ‘mind’, ‘body’, and ‘soul’ goals.
After I categorized them, I decided to choose just ONE (yes, one!) goal to focus on in each category for each month.
I figured that between my goals and trying to keep my morning and evening habits and routines consistent that there would be more than enough to keep me busy.
So without further ado, here are my three January goals:
I will do 5-15 minutes of mindful yoga in the morning to help my body wake up.
I will go to the gym five days a week.
I will write at least three things that I’m grateful for every day in my gratitude journal.
I hope that my goals will help inspire you to either set some goals or to stay motivated in the pursuit of your own.
Remember, any day can be a fresh start — not just January 1st.
