The Life-Changing Power of Ten
I get it. Life can be busy, and stressful and difficult.
But you have goals you want to accomplish, places you want to visit, hobbies that you want to start and a life that you want to live!
So how can you handle it all?
*Enter the Power of Ten*
How come it’s the Power of Ten, and not, like the power of seven? Well, honestly, this guide could be the power of anything, but when I was thinking about what I did in my life and the steps that I was taking to build a life that I love and go after my goals, everything seemed to be falling into groups of tens.
I did ten minutes of yoga before bed, wrote down ten goals each day, and wrote an affirmation in my journal ten times each morning. Ten has been showing up every where for me!
Think about it: ten minutes of something is entirely doable, right? And writing down ten things doesn’t take too long, and attempting to do ten things each day might be a small stretch but is still totally achievable.
The ‘Power of Ten’ basically boils down to the things that you do every day that can get you to where you want to be or go. We start with the your big picture life and goals and slowly work our way down until we have ten actionable steps that you can take every day.

THE TEN STEPS
ONE: Inspiration & Motivation
The first step? Get inspired and motivated! What do you want your life to look like? To feel like? To smell like? Sound like? Are there any pictures that depict how you want your life to look? Are there any songs that make you feel like how you want your life to feel? What does your dream day consist of?
TWO: Where am I at?
In order to get where you want to be, you have to discover where you’re currently at.
THREEE: What to change?
To arrive at a life that you love, what has to change in your current life?
FOUR: Where & what do I want?
Now that you know what you need to change in your current life, what are some more specifics about your dream life? What do you want in your future life? Where do you want to be? (Think: clothes, house, vacation, kitchen, bedroom, etc.)
FIVE: My Goals
What are your goals for the future that would get you to where you want to be? What do you want to accomplish? Achieve? Acquire? Attempt?
SIX: My Why
Why do you want to accomplish your goals? What’s driving you? Your ‘why’ is a very powerful tool to help you stay motivated and focused on your goals and your future!
SEVEN: An Attraction Mindset
Taking outwards action is one thing, but prepping your inner mindset can also help you accomplish your goals faster.
EIGHT: My Daily Practices
The way that you spend each day is the way that you spend your life, so your list of daily practices is your key to helping you live a life that you love starting today!
NINE: My Daily Action Steps
How can do you get from one place to another? By taking a step! Your list of daily actions is what’s going to help you to reach your goals. Little steps every day is how your dreams will be built!
TEN: My Results
What you do each day becomes habit, and your habits are what build your world. Consistency is key, and your daily practices and action steps are what is going to get you the results that you want.
So how about it, does the Power of Ten seem simple enough?
I know that it can be daunting to either not know what you want to do with your life, or have too many things that you want to do or just feel overwhelmed by life. But whatever you’re going through, you CAN reach your goals, find joy, build a life you love and do whatever it is that you want!
